Hanging Your Wreath Couldn't Be Easier
Hanging your wreath should be given just as much consideration as the type of wreath you buy. You want a hanging method that is simple, cost effective, and doesn’t damage your door. We have listed three common methods below.
Wreath Hanger
A wreath hanger is a piece of material usually plastic or metal that is moulded into an S-shape with a long, flat central section.
The hooks on either end that form the S-shape are what you use to hang your wreath. One hook goes over the top of your door, the flat central section hangs from this flat against your door, and the other hook is what your wreath hangs from.
These hangers can be used in seconds and require no drilling. They also give excellent positioning as you can simply slide the top hook along your door so the wreath sits centrally.
Ribbon
Ribbon makes for a great hanging method too and it also looks decorative and can complement the colours of your wreath. You use a ribbon and adhesive hook in a similar way to the wreath hanger.
On the back of your door you stick an adhesive hook and then loop the ribbon through it. With the ribbon looped through it, the other end of the ribbon should be place over the top of your door to hang down. You can then cut it to the correct length and tie it around your wreath.
Magnetic Hooks
Magnetic hooks are equally as convenient and have the benefit of no trailing material that is visible on your door. You essentially have a paid of magnets and one has a hook attached. You simply line up the magnets on either side of your door so they form a magnetic bond.
This will form a clamp and provide a stable hook for your wreath. We advise placing the hook magnet on the door first in the position you want it and then lining up the other magnet on the rear of your door.
