Artificial Wreaths for Your Front Door

Artificial wreaths utilise various arts and crafts materials like mesh, paper, wood, plastic, ceramic, ribbon, and fabric. These materials are cut, shaped, and moulded into different designs to create superb decorative pieces.

In addition to this, these wreaths often use fake flowers, greenery, berries, and other items to emulate natural foliage and plants. The effect is quite pleasing, and technologies have improved so that the artificial greenery looks incredibly realistic.

You can get artificial wreaths in any style and for any occasion or season. Artificial seasonal wreaths for the spring and summer, for example, use fake flowers and greenery and look superb. The benefit is that they last much longer than real wreaths and the flowers and greenery will not wilt and die. There are also artificial wreaths for celebrations like Christmas, weddings, Halloween, and Easter.

Artificial Easter wreaths may use toy bunnies and chicks or have fake easter eggs attached to them. Similarly, artificial wedding wreaths usually have fake white flowers like roses complemented with leaves and stems and other greenery.

We have a brilliant selection of artificial wreaths made to a high standard. You can also find a host of accessories including wreath hangers and ribbons so you can easily hang your artificial wreath on your front door. Why not have a look and check out the different designs and styles available?

What is the best size for your artificial wreath?

To get an ideal artificial wreath size you must first think about where you want to place it. The most common place is on your front door. To get the best size you should first measure your door from the inside of the frame.

With that measurement in mind subtract 5-10 inches and that is the ideal wreath size. Let’s look at an example – if your door was 30 inches wide, an ideal artificial wreath size would be 20-25 inches in width. If you are placing the wreath elsewhere just make sure you have enough space and that it isn’t overwhelming.

Are artificial wreaths better than real wreaths?

This depends on personal preference and both artificial and real wreaths have their pros and cons. Artificial wreaths require little to no maintenance and are brilliant if you aren’t bothered about the scent of things like flowers, or don’t want to deal with watering and sun damage.

Real wreaths can look more natural and if they contain flowers or greenery, and they smell fantastic. The downside is that they do not last as long as artificial wreaths and they do require looking after such as watering and keeping out of direct sunlight.

What is the best way to hang your artificial wreath?

There are several effective ways to hang your artificial wreath including ribbon, wreath hangers, magnetic hangers, and command strips. Command strips are easy to use and are essentially double-sided sticky strips. Just place one sticky side on the back of your wreath and the other on your door.

Wreath hangers are also incredibly convenient and don’t require any nails or tools. These are simple S-shaped items usually made from metal or plastic. One hook is what you hang your wreath from, and the other is what you hang over the top of your door.

How to look after your artificial wreath?

The great thing about this type of wreath is that it needs virtually no maintenance! You don’t need to water the greenery or flowers and depending on the materials it is made from; you don’t need to worry about keeping it out of direct sunlight.

It is an idea to check the instructions and storage is the most important aspect of keeping an artificial wreath. You should ideally keep it inside a cardboard box when not in use so that it can’t get stained or damaged.
